How can swim training gear be improved?
Swimming is a sport that requires a lot of equipment to be successful. From goggles to caps to paddles, swimmers use a variety of tools to enhance their performance and protect their bodies. With the right equipment, swimmers can optimize their stroke technique, increase their speed, and swim more comfortably.

Tooling
Tooling the Medley kickboard involves crafting uniform EVA layers, to smooth molding, and integrating a strong handle. Each step presents challenges: ensuring even density, perfect shaping, and a durable, seamless fabric laminate requires several iterations of both the method and tool.
Usage
Pull buoy
By creating a tapered section in the middle the medley kickboard nestles securely between the legs
Catch up drill
The center hole conforms well to a single hand hold while still supporting the arm, perfect for stroke drills & development
Level 3 hold
With the bottom handle much of the bodies weight is pushed through the forarm and wrist creating a focused workout
Level 1 hold
By holding the board at the top the buoyancy pushes up on the forams and lifts the body into goo position
Level 2 hold
When lowering the hands more support is pulled from the forearms
